Volunteers Needed for FREE Fall Fest Community Event
The City of St. Cloud Park & Recreation Department is putting on a free Fall Fest on Friday, October 20th from 4-7pm at Riverside Park (across the river from SCSU). The event aims to draw hundreds of families and individuals to come together and celebrate the spirit of the season. We are dedicated to providing a fun-filled event with a range of activities, including a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, face painting, food trucks, trick-or-treating stations, fall games, and more!
To ensure the success of the event, we are seeking volunteers who are passionate about making a positive impact on our community.
We have a variety of volunteer needs, including:
- setup in the days leading up to the event
- washing of pumpkins
- organizing of decorations
- decorating inside of park shelter
- setup in the morning/afternoon the day of the event
- setting up pumpkin patch
- setting up carnival games
- decorating park
- welcoming vendors to the event, assisting with their setup
- activity stations during the actual event
- pumpkin patch attendants
- pumpkin painting attendants
- hay ride assistance (helping patrons onto and off of trailers)
- arts & crafts attendants
- caution tape maze attendants
- inflatable attendants
- takedown/cleanup after the event
**Please make sure to dress for the weather! The majority of this event will be outdoors. Please wear a black top - Park & Recreation will provide a construction vest to put on top of the black to identify volunteers.
