Are you looking for a way to give back to our Nation's Heroes? Do you enjoy driving and visiting with others? If so, becoming a volunteer driver is just the volunteer assignment for you!
Volunteer drivers help bridge the gap between Veterans and the access to healthcare that they so greatly deserve. Volunteer drivers pick up Veterans in the community and transport them to their medical appointments. This volunteer assignment offers the most flexibility, yet is the most rewarding. As a volunteer driver, you'll receive assignment specific training and will be able to drive one of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) fleet vehicles at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System. Volunteer drivers are needed in all counties across Minnesota, however, the greatest need lies within - Benton, Crow Wing, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright Counties.
