Who We Are
Volunteers are needed to:
1) Staff the bookstore, generally in 2-hour shifts every other week (training is provided)
2) Assist with sorting donated books and related materials and stocking the bookstore the shelves of the bookstore which is located in the St. Cloud Public Library. Some volunteers also price the books for sale in the bookstore and, after training, determine the price for vintage, first editions, and signed books.
3) Assist with special sales on a periodic basis
What We Do
St. Cloud Friends of the Library is a 501c3 organization that supports the Great River Regional Library, St. Cloud. We use volunteers to staff a bookstore located in the library, sort donations of books and other materials, stock shelves in the bookstore, and determine value of collectable, vintage, signed or other valuable books.
Funds collected through sales in the bookstore and in special sales are given to the library to purchase materials and provide special programs.
