Who We Are
CentraCare is a not-for-profit health care system that has been serving the communities of Central Minnesota for over a century. Our roots go back to 1886 when St. Cloud Hospital was built to serve the health care needs of people living in Central Minnesota. In 1995, CentraCare was formed, which today includes nine hospitals in St. Cloud, Benson, Long Prairie, Melrose, Monticello, Paynesville, Redwood Falls, Sauk Centre and Willmar. We also have more than 30 clinics throughout the area.
CentraCare volunteers represent an extension of the passion we have for our patients and their families. By sharing your time and talents, you become a valuable part of our health care team and make a difference in people’s lives.
CentraCare has many locations throughout the region, providing quality care close to home. Our collaborative network includes Volunteer Programs at St. Cloud Hospital, CentraCare - St. Cloud Hospice, CentraCare – Long Prairie, CentraCare – Melrose, CentraCare – Monticello, CentraCare – Paynesville, CentraCare – Sauk Centre, CentraCare – Willmar Hospice, CentraCare – Willmar, and CentraCare – Redwood.
