Volunteer Opportunity: Scrapbooking & Embellishment Studio Organization
Help us bring creativity to life by organizing the VREC Scrapbooking & Embellishment Studio! This space gives Veterans and their families the opportunity to preserve memories, tell their stories, and express themselves through creative arts.
We're looking for volunteers to help transform our collection of scrapbooking supplies into an organized, inspiring, and easy-to-use creative workspace.
Volunteer tasks may include:
- Sorting and organizing scrapbook paper by color, theme, or size.
- Organizing embellishments, stickers, stamps, die cuts, ribbons, buttons, and decorative accents.
- Arranging punches, paper cutters, embossing tools, and other crafting equipment.
- Labeling bins, drawers, and shelving for easy access.
- Organizing albums, page protectors, adhesives, markers, and specialty papers.
- Creating a neat and inviting workspace where participants can easily find supplies and begin crafting.
- Cleaning and arranging work tables and display areas.
No crafting experience is necessary. Volunteers who enjoy organizing, scrapbooking, paper crafting, or decorating are especially encouraged to participate, but there is a place for everyone to help.
By organizing this creative space, you'll help Veterans and military families preserve cherished memories, build friendships, reduce stress, and discover the healing power of creativity.
