Did you know that you have an opportunity to support over 10,000 Central Minnesota kids in need with foundational school supplies?

There is an immense need for basic educational tools like school supplies. Without the right supplies, it’s incredibly difficult for students to succeed in the classroom. We need your help.

Support local students as they return to the classroom by ensuring they have the tools for success. Donations will benefit Central Minnesota learners.

Here's how you can get involved:

Consider holding a school supply drive at your office, gym or place of worship. Items may be dropped off at United Way until Friday, August 16. Email Mary Krippner or call her at 320-223-7991 to set up a drop-off time.

Families and individuals within our community are forced to make heartbreaking choices between necessities and other crucial expenses. Join us as we collect donations of basic need items to ensure everyone has access to the essentials and bring a little comfort to those who need it most.  Items requested are body wash, conditioner, dental floss and toothpaste, laundry soap, lotion, mouthwash, razors, tampons/pads, toilet paper, and Vaseline. Donations can be dropped off at United Way of Central Minnesota, 921 1st Street North, St. Cloud, Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am to noon. United Way Handy Helper will assist and complete simple repair and maintenance of United Way of Central Minnesota's building located in downtown St. Cloud.

Volunteer will perform basic repairs, clean up the parking lot, and other tasks determined by staff. The time commitment is negotiable. 

Must complete a volunteer interview, pass a background check and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
