Needs From: United Way of Central Minnesota Volunteer Connection

In partnership with Callan Furniture, we are collecting twin-size sheet sets and bed pillows in neutral colors to support youth in our community. Your support helps provide comfort and care to those who need it most, ensuring they hae essential items to provide warmth and a sense of security. Drop off donation at United Way, Monday - Thursday, 8-4:30 and 8-Noon on Fridays. 

In Central Minnesota, many people struggle to get essentials like soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, and other items that most of us take for granted. Families and individuals within our community are forced to make heartbreaking choices between necessities and other crucial expenses. Join us as we collect donations of basic need items to ensure everyone has access to the essentials and bring a little comfort to those who need it most.  Items requested are body wash, conditioner, dental floss and toothpaste, laundry soap, lotion, mouthwash, razors, tampons/pads, toilet paper, and Vaseline. Donations can be dropped off at United Way of Central Minnesota, 921 1st Street North, St. Cloud, Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am to noon. There is an immense need for basic educational tools like school supplies. Without the right supplies, it’s incredibly difficult for students to succeed in the classroom. We need your help.

Support local students as they return to the classroom by ensuring they have the tools for success. Donations will benefit Central Minnesota learners.

Here's how you can get involved:

Consider holding a school supply drive at your office, gym or place of worship. Items may be dropped off at United Way until Friday, August 16. Email Mary Krippner or call her at 320-223-7991 to set up a drop-off time.

School supplies stay in our community and are donated to Central Minnesota schools and youth programs.

Donate new socks or underwear, all sizes for SOCK-tober! Donations will be given to schools and area shelters. Drop off donations at United Way of Central Minnesota, 921 1st Street North, St. Cloud. United Way Handy Helper is a valuable and rewarding volunteer opportunity! 

United Way Handy Helper will assist and complete simple repair and maintenance of United Way of Central Minnesota's building located in downtown St. Cloud.

Volunteer will perform basic repairs, clean up the parking lot, and other tasks determined by staff. The time commitment is negotiable. 

Must complete a volunteer interview, pass a background check and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
