Readers Theater volunteers bring children's stories to life - using their voices, expression, and enthusiasm to spark imagination in students from preschool through 5th Grade. No memorization required; just a script, your personality, and a love of storytelling. Volunteers (ages 55 and better) perform as a group in schools across St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Rice, Waite Park, and surrounding communities. This flexible role lets you choose when and where you participate, and the group works together to perform stories that delight audiences and build a love of literacy. The team meets monthly on the 4th Monday (September–May, excluding December), 1:00–2:00 pm at Whitney Senior Center to plan upcoming performances. Ready to turn the page on something meaningful?
