Volunteer: Meal Prep Help Needed for Summer ProgramThe Yes Network provides summer meals for kids at several District 742 schools, sites and neighborhoods. The meals are free-of-charge and help kids who don't have access to food during the summer get fed. Meals are served at Apollo High School, Tech High School, Great River Regional Library along with many other sites. Meals include hamburgers, chicken nuggets, orange chicken and rice, and chicken patties to name a few. The Yes Network is looking for volunteers to help our Cooks prepare meals for the kids during the summer. Each volunteer would help prep veggies, fruits, breakfast items with the Cooks. Also, may need help in washing dishes. (If willing and capable) Summer Program begins June 12 and runs thru August 11. North Jr. High to Tech High School Each volunteer would delivery to three to four sites each morning, Monday thru Friday and would receive training and support. Volunteers can participate Monday thru Friday - or just several days a week.
