Host kids' birthday parties at the shelter. Must be comfortable working with kids and handling animals. Birthday parties are only scheduled during shelter hours, Monday-Friday 12-6 p.m. and Saturdays/Sundays 12-5 p.m. Parties are 1.5 hours, first 45 minutes is our programing, which includes an animal themed activity (bingo, trivia, crafts), a tour and a meet and greet with the animals. Second 45 minutes is the family's to use for food and presents.
On-call position, when parties are scheduled, an email is sent to hosts.
