Our Adult Education program is seeking volunteers to provide one-on-one reading support to adult learners, including students in both ESL (English as a Second Language) and GED/Adult Diploma classes.
As a 1:1 Reading Tutor, you will work individually with an adult student to help them improve their reading skills. This includes supporting reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary development. Many of our learners are working toward personal goals such as passing the GED, gaining employment, or better supporting their families.
Experience in education, tutoring, or literacy support is a plus, but not required! Resources will be provided. Multiple times are available Monday through Thursday.
