This is a wonderful opportunity to create hope, strength and joy for a child with a critical illness! Wish granters sign up to grant the wish of a child, meet virtually with the child and their family, help the child determine their top wish ideas, and then serve as a pen pal to keep their spirits up while staff work on the wish! Wish granting volunteers work in teams of two or three. We welcome all applicants, but have a particular need to those fluent in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, Arabic, Oromo, and ASL. Bilingual volunteers set families at ease to share their thoughts, concerns, dreams, and questions in the way that is most comfortable for them.
Training is provided and is flexible with your schedule.
