Needs From: United Way of Central Minnesota Volunteer Connection

Community Educators are volunteer public speakers who help the Alzheimer's Association provide consumer education. These volunteers deliver prepared presentations on topics related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

To provide assistance to the personnel managing projects for the Alzheimer's Association, Minnesota-North Dakota St. Cloud Office. Tasks could include: answering phones, making phone calls, data entry, and other office assistance. Flexible scheduling is available during general business hours.

Facilitate or co-facilitate an Alzheimer's Association-affiliated support group in your community for those caring for someone with dementia. Groups typically meet one or two times/month. Training will be provided. Support groups happen through out Minnesota.

Walk to End Alzheimer's – Committee Member
Coordinate logistics, recruit new participants and sponsors, market the event, seek refreshments and prizes, plan entertainment and help ensure the event reaches fundraising goals. The committee meets monthly.

The event is Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Lake George. Funds raised are used towards the full mission of the Alzheimer's Association including: support, care, education and research.
