We invite you to join our dedicated Volunteer Supervisor team as we expand restoration efforts across the state. As a Volunteer Supervisor, you'll develop valuable leadership and restoration skills while helping to lead and motivate groups of volunteers at our spring and fall restoration events. Volunteer Supervisors oversee small groups of around 10 volunteers during hands-on restoration projects. These activities typically include planting native grasses and forbs, tree and shrub planting, controlling invasive species, and broadcasting seeds. We’ll start by hauling and stacking, followed by producing biochar from waste wood. You’ll also learn about its applications in natural resource management. This event is open to all, and any necessary training will be provided. Day of: Please arrive promptly, allowing time for parking and a short walk. Safety: Ensuring safety is our highest priority.
