ConnectAbility of MN's Donated Equipment Program accepts donations of durable medical equipment which are cleaned and prepared to be sent back out into the community at no cost. Our annual Give Get Day is a huge push to get equipment in and out, outside of our regular operating hours. Once an item is cleaned, inspected, and prepared, it is ready to go back out into our community.
We need volunteers to help clean these items.
No experience is needed and our staff will train volunteers on our standard cleaning practices. Personal Protective Equipment, seating, and water is provided. Volunteers must be able to navigate narrow spaces and handle cleaning supplies. Some bending may be needed and additional accommodations are available if requested.
Scheduling is flexible during event hours. Stay as long or as short as desired.
