Central MN Adult Education

The mission of Central MN Adult Education is to provide adults with educational opportunities to acquire and improve the literacy skills needed to ensure self-sufficiency and to participate effectively as productive workers, family members, and citizens. We respect students, believe in their abilities, meet changing community needs, and provide a relevant instructional program.

Central Minnesota Adult Basic Education of Waite Park provides English as a Second Language (ESL) or General Education Diploma (GED) classes to aid immigrant communities in improving language skills and for career advancement. 2 hour ESL classes and GED/Diploma classes are offered at various times throughout the week. These classes are offered at Quarryview Education Center, Great River Regional Library in Saint Cloud, La Cruz in Saint Cloud, and Resurrection Lutheran Church in St. Joseph.
