Who We Are

ConnectAbility of MN is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1954. We offer a range of programs to support people with disabilities across the state of Minnesota.

What We Do

We provide coordinated services for individuals with physical and invisible barriers supported by the MN DHS waiver system. Our services are designed to enhance independence, quality of life, and community participation for individuals with disabilities. These services include: Transportation Coordination, Chore Services, Environmental Assessments, Home Modifications, and Specialized Equipment Purchasing.

In addition, our Community Engagement Department offers a variety of programs and resources such as the Donated Equipment Program which accepts and donates durable medical equipment at no cost. We also have the Adaptive Equipment Connection, which is a grant-funded program that is designed for those with diagnosed long-term disabilities. As well as other grant-funded programs that offer support to those in our community facing barriers. Included in our community events is our Inclusive Halloween Event and Adaptive Bowling League. We also host educational events, provide volunteer opportunities, and have been known to host other organization’s meetings.
