Kids Fighting Hunger is excited to announce the twelfth annual "We Are Thankful" community-wide food service packaging event and collection of non-perishable food items on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the Rivers Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud. This event is designed to give adults, children, and families in our community a chance to help provide food to families in Central Minnesota.
600 people are needed to package 120,000+ oatmeal and rice meals for area food shelves: Albany, Big Lake, Buffalo, Elk River, Catholic Charities, St. Cloud, Monticello, Cold Spring, St, Joseph, and Zimmerman. Packs are at 9, 11, and 1 for about 1.15 hours. Recommended Donations $15.00 < age 18 and $30 per adult. To sponsor the event email Cathy Wogen at cathy.wogen@gmail.com
Who is getting the food? Package 120,000+ oatmeal and rice meals for area food shelves: Albany, Big Lake, Buffalo, Elk River, Catholic Charities, St. Cloud, Monticello, Cold Spring, St, Joseph, and Zimmerman. Catholic Charities will have a truck in the RECC to collect the non-perishable food items.
REGISTRATION: Click on the dark blue "View Details" button. To register for one person, click on the "Respond" button and complete the registration process. To register for more than one person, (family, group, club, etc.) click on the "Respond as a Team" button and enter information for the team leader. It is not required to enter contact information for all members of your team. Be creative - your team name can be anything you want it to be.
