Make a Difference! Be a KIDSTOP Volunteer!

Join the staff and kids at any one of our 15 KIDSTOP sites in the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Sartell, and Cold Spring school district as a program volunteer! You can make a difference in a child's life in as little as one hour a week. Set your own schedule with the Volunteer Coordinator to make your experience valuable. We have opportunities for you to get involved in the areas of education & career development, character & leadership development, the arts, health & life skills and sports, fitness & recreation. Participate in sports, play board games with the kids, read one-to-one with a child or help with homework, or share your love of arts and crafts! It's as easy as just spending time with kids.

Hours: KIDSTOP is open M-F after school hours (school dismissal times vary) until 6 pm and during the summers from 6:30 am to 6 pm (programming with the children runs 8:00-5:00).

Benefits to volunteering: Making a positive impact on a child’s life…Youth experience…Resume Builder…No Weekends…Ability to share your talents and skills with others…Benefits are endless!

Requirements: We only ask that volunteers be able to relate well with children in a group environment, participate as an active team member with staff and other volunteers, and abide by volunteer policies.

Commitment: To volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club, we require a minimum commitment of 20 hours over a three-month period.

How to apply: Volunteers will need to go through an enrollment process (includes orientation).  All volunteers are asked to complete a criminal background check before their first volunteer experience.  Please apply on our website at or contact our Volunteer Coordinator Bethany Theisen at 320-257-5115 or if you have any questions.
