United Way of Central Minnesota

Who We Are

United Way of Central Minnesota's mission is to improve people's lives by mobilizing the caring power of Central Minnesota.

All people deserve a roof over their head and food in their stomach. Every child should have an opportunity to enter school ready to learn. More than ever before, United Way is focused and outcome driven. Rather than spread dollars thinly across a wide range of programs, the focus has become to make a deeper impact on five community issues and provide measureable results.

What We Do

United Way's five goals within the impact areas of education and basic needs include:  reducing homelessness, ending hunger, increasing financial stability, ensuring literacy and building youth life skills.

United Way of Central Minnesota partners with organizations who address the five community goals, achieve measurable results, and are fiscally accountable.

United Way recruits people and organizations from all across the community who bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done.
