Junior Achievement-St. Cloud

Who We Are

Junior Achievement's mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. JA is the largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Junior Achievement provides programs that complement and enhance existing school curriculum. JA was founded in 1919 by Horace Moses (founder of 4-H) and leaders in the business community. It is the worlds oldest, largest, and fastest growing non-profit initiative in economic education. JA offers economic education programs to a diverse audience of K-12 students during regular school hours. JA brings over 150,000 business volunteers nationally into the classroom to create a bridge between the classroom and the workplace. JA reaches over 4 million young people in over 162,000 classrooms in the United States and nearly 9 million students in more than 100 countries around the world. This school year, nearly 8,600 students participated in JA programs throughout Central MN.
